Unity in the Sacrament of Matrimony

Enriching Marriage

Communication and prayer are essential to a happy marriage. Couples must share what they experience in their hearts and what they think in their minds with each other and with God if they are to achieve marital intimacy as designed by God. With the distractions of careers, children and other life events, it’s important to take time to reconnect with your spouse.

The Center for Family Life Formation provides marriage enrichment through REFOCCUS, a marriage enrichment inventory and discussion tool. Couples can self-administer the assessment and discussion, or can attend group facilitation.

The Center also provides several marriage enrichment events throughout the calendar year including the annual Marriage Celebration. These opportunities enhance marital intimacy and lead to stronger communication and prayer, helping couples learn to love each other in new and deeper ways.

Marriage Celebration

Archbishop George J. Lucas invites you to attend the annual Mass honoring marriage and your anniversary. This event honors couples celebrating 1, 5, 25, 40, 50, 55, 60 or more years of marriage. Rosary starts at 1:30pm, Mass at 2pm with a cake reception to follow. September 15th in Omaha and September 29th in Norfolk.
