Christian families have a grave responsibility in raising, educating and passing on the faith to their children. The Center for Family Life Formation offers families a variety of family enrichment resources and support for all cultures by providing parishes with training and resources for service to families across the life cycle.
Beginning with infants, Called By Name© offers an overview of the basics of baptism and emphasizes the importance of this sacrament not only for the one being baptized, but also for the individual’s family and the larger parish community.
Family, Become What You Are©, a parenting education workshop, builds on sound parenting theory and practice set within the context of the Catholic faith. Topics include Catholic identity and mission, parenting styles, discipline and special parenting situations.
Strengthening Catholic Families helps Catholic families recognize their call to holiness, to live out their vocation as vibrant members of the Body of Christ and to draw other families to do the same.
The Center also provides outreach for the practice and education of Natural Family Planning, a morally acceptable and effective birth control method based on observance of a woman’s naturally occurring signs of fertility.
